In the third session of the third day of the only Test match being played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday, Bangladesh pacers Shoriful Islam and Taskin Ahmed began proceedings with a bang with the ball as they removed both of Afghanistan’s openers, Ibrahim Zadran and Abdul Malik, in the first two overs of the innings to leave the visitors two down for seven.

This occurred in the third session of the third day of the match.

In the very first delivery of the innings, Shoriful had Zadran leg before wicket, while Taskin had Malik nicked off for five runs in the second over.
