Hasan Mahmud, who was bowling for Bangladesh, took his second wicket of the innings in the 38th over by nicking off dangerman Dhananjaya de Silva. This resulted in the Lankans being reduced to five wickets down for 164 in the Asia Cup Super Four match between the two teams, which took place on Saturday in Colombo.

Mahmud, who had just removed opener Dimuth Karunaratne to give the Tigers their first breakthrough, clipped one away on a decent length that took the outside edge of De Silva’s blade. Mushfiqur Rahim, the wicketkeeper, performed flawlessly with the gloves this time and took a standard catch behind the wickets.
