Uefa investigates lewd noises during euro 2024 draw broadcast0

After sex noises disturbed the broadcast of the Euro 2024 draw on Saturday, UEFA launched an investigation.

Switzerland was drawn in Group A alongside Scotland, Hungary, and the hosts, Germany.

The deputy general secretary of European football’s governing body, Giorgio Marchetti, attempted to take control of the situation, saying, “There is some noise here that… has now stopped.” There is no longer any noise.”

England manager Gareth Southgate, who was in the audience for the draw, claimed he could vaguely hear the noises.

“I’m assuming it was some sort of a prank, but it was hard to really make out what it was,” the man stated.

Daniel Jarvis, a YouTube prankster, claimed responsibility for both that and the most recent hoax.

Jarvis broadcast himself live on X, formerly Twitter, ringing a mobile phone at intervals to trigger the noises as the Euros draw took place in Hamburg, Germany, which was televised on the BBC.

“Listen, that was us, that was us,” he said to the audience. We got it in there, placed the phone in there, rang it, and there was sex noise at the Euro 2024 draw.”

A similar occurrence occurred on the BBC during the build-up to Liverpool’s FA Cup match against Wolves in January.
