Tigers renew focus with white-ball camp today0

The one and only test match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan was won by the hosts in convincing form on Saturday. However, some Bangladesh players have already began individual training at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium indoor nets since yesterday.

On the eve of the beginning of official white-ball practice, players such as pacer Hasan Mahmud and senior batter Mushfiqur Rahim went through a session with the bat at the indoor nets. Mushfiqur Rahim was seen working up a sweat and appeared to be looking for a few new strokes to add to his arsenal. Hasan Mahmud is a pacer. Official white-ball practice begins today.

Hasan’s bowling partner, Taskin Ahmed, made the previous comment that the forthcoming one-day international series against Afghanistan, which is set to start on July 5, will “be challenging.”

Even before the start of the test, everyone had been doing a good job of practicing with the white ball. Following a promotional event on Monday, Taskin remarked, “We are hopeful of something good, although it won’t be easy [in the ODIs against Afghanistan].”

Taskin informed everyone that the decisive victory in the Test match by 546 runs “is in the past now” and that the “next game will begin from the first ball.” With two important events on the horizon, the pace leader for the Tigers thinks that their work will now begin afresh to sustain development and advancement in their performance.

“The pacers are doing well, but everything will start with focusing on that match [on July 05],” the commentator said.

In general, the wickets at Chattogram are conducive to recreational activities including batting. In spite of this, we are all optimistic that if we are able to keep our consistency in terms of growth, everyone would be gradually equipped for the future World Cup and Asia Cup, as Taskin stated in his concluding remarks.
