Bangladesh might win the Asia Cup if they are able to play their best cricket, according to pacer Taskin Ahmed.
Three times, Bangladesh advanced to the Asia Cup final, however they were never successful in winning the competition. Nevertheless, Taskin feels optimistic about his performance while keeping the forthcoming ODI World Cup in mind.
“Playing in the Asia Cup final is our primary goal since a team’s accomplishment is the largest accomplishment. If we make it to the championship game and are able to play as a team, I will be really thrilled. I beg you everyone to pray for us. We obviously want to win the championship, but improving our cricket is more important now that the World Cup is just around the corner. We have a chance to win if we play our best cricket, Taskin told the reporters at the airport today.
