Rangpur Riders all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will go to Singapore tomorrow to meet an ophthalmologist because to ongoing eye irritation, the team’s director Shanian Tanim told the Daily Star today.

The 36-year-old’s return date has not yet been set, and it will be established after a session with the doctor.

“Shakib will go to Singapore tomorrow to get his eyes tested. His readmission to the squad will be determined by the conclusion of his appointment with the doctor, Tanim told The Daily Star.

Shakib travelled to London last week for an eye examination after experiencing eyesight concerns while batting. Rangpur Riders organised the travel, but this time the Bangladesh Cricket Board arranged for a visit to an ophthalmologist in Singapore.

Shakib scored two runs and took two wickets in today’s five-wicket loss against Tamim Iqbal’s Fortune Barishal at Mirpur.
