Tuesday’s second Women’s ODI between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka was rained out. The Colombo P Sara Oval’s toss was rained out.
Bangladesh’s fourth Women’s Championship washout followed the opening match of the three-match series. Sri Lanka reached 152 for six in 36.4 overs before rain delayed the opening match. Last December’s rain wiped out Bangladesh’s last two New Zealand matches.
Bangladesh is sixth in the Women’s Championship with four points after four matches were rained out. Sri Lanka is seventh with four points, one match ahead of Bangladesh.
India leads with 12 points after six matches.
On Thursday, the series against Sri Lanka concludes in Colombo.
