Pandya set to return to mumbai indians: reports0

In the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL), all-rounder Hardik Pandya of India will rejoin his former team, the Mumbai Indians, after leaving the Gujarat Titans, according to cricket website espncricinfo.

Pandya, who started his IPL career with Mumbai in 2015, captained Gujarat in the first two editions, guiding them to a runners-up position in 2022 and the triumph in 2021.

For an undisclosed transfer cost, Gujarat has chosen to swap their skipper to Mumbai, nevertheless.

As of yet, neither franchise has formalised the agreement. The trade must be completed by November 26 at the latest.

The deal would be the largest in IPL history if it goes through. In addition, it will mark the third time an IPL team has swapped their captain from the prior campaign. The leaders of the Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane, were traded to the Delhi Capitals earlier in 2020.
