Officials announced Tuesday that Pakistan will return to Sri Lanka next month to play two Tests as part of the upcoming ICC World Championship.
The Pakistan team is scheduled to arrive in Colombo on July 9 and will begin their first Test on July 16 in Galle. The second Test will begin on July 24 in Colombo, according to a terse statement from Sri Lanka Cricket.
In July of last year, the hosts drew their two-match Test series against Pakistan.
In December 2019, Sri Lanka traveled to Pakistan for two Tests, drawing one and losing the other by 263 runs.
