Just hours after announcing his marriage to Pakistani actress Sana Javed, Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik started Fortune Barishal’s Bangladesh Premier League opener against the Rangpur Riders today at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
Following the match, Rangpur Riders all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan congratulates Fortune Barishal’s Pakistan batsman Shoaib Malik. Fortune Barishal won the match by five wickets.
“Alhamdulillah,” Malik said in the description of his post on X (previously Twitter) and Instagram. “And We created you in pairs,” the all-rounder said from the Holy Quran.
