The Bangladesh Premier League will conclude its second round today, prior to a two-week hiatus beginning on January 7 to observe the national elections.

At 2:30 pm today at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj, Mohammedan Sporting Club will face Shiekh Russel Krira Chakra, a team to which they have suffered four losses in the previous two BPL seasons.

In the other match of the day, Brothers Union will face Rahmatganj MFS at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Flight Lt Matiur Rahman Stadium. Originally scheduled to commence at 2:30 pm, the match has been rescheduled for 1:30 pm, according to a statement from the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) yesterday.


The BFF announced that the Kings arena will host Saturday’s match between Chittagong Abahani and Bashundhara Kings, due to the unavailability of the Munshiganj venue where the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) will establish station following the Rahmatganj-Brothers matchup, has been rescheduled.

On Saturday, Abahani Limited will travel to Rajshahi, while Police FC will travel to Mymensingh to face Sheikh Jamal DC and Fortis FC, the hosts, respectively.
