While driving in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner almost got into a car accident.
Even though the light was red, Messi, who had cops in front of and behind him, turned left, and a car coming the other way just missed hitting his car. The video of Messi leaving the Inter Miami training center in a fancy white SUV was shown on TyC Sports.
Both drivers were able to avoid a crash, and no one was hurt.
But just before this, a fan who was trying to get a good shot of Messi almost walked right in front of him.
Even though the Inter Miami player ran a red light, he probably won’t get in trouble because the cops were with him. However, if someone else did it, they could get a $125 fine and three points taken off their license.
