Man utd on brink of cl exit after 3-3 draw at galatasaray0

Manchester United blew a two-goal lead twice in a dramatic 3-3 draw against Galatasaray on Wednesday, keeping their faint Champions League ambitions alive.

Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes, and Scott McTominay scored for United in a tense game, but the point kept Erik ten Hag’s club in fourth place in Group A with four points after five games.

United’s chances of advancing are dependent on Wednesday’s late game between Bayern Munich (12 points) and Copenhagen (four points) before their last meeting on December 12 against the German group winners.

United had an early 2-0 lead thanks to Garnacho and Fernandes but Hakim Ziyech equalised from a free kick after an error by the English team’s custodian Andre Onana.

Soon after halftime, McTominay put United up 3-1, but Ziyech tucked home another free kick under Onana’s elbow, and Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu levelled for Galatasaray in the 71st minute.
