Liton sees consolation win as tonic for t20i series0

Liton Das, who is Bangladesh’s stand-in captain, said that the relief win in the third and final ODI against Afghanistan on Tuesday will give his team confidence for the upcoming three-match T20I series against the same opponents.

After a dominant 7-wicket win today at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, where the first two games of the series were played, the Tigers will now turn their attention to the T20I series, which will start on July 14 at the Sylhet International Stadium.

“This win helped the boys before the T20I series. “I’m very confident going into the T20Is,” Liton said today at a ceremony after a match.

Liton gave his bowlers all the credit for the easy win, which capped off a poor series for the home team.

“They did a good job. Shoriful Islam and Taskin Ahmed did a good job with the new ball, and the spinners did a good job in the middle overs. “It’s all the bowlers’ fault.”

Hashmatullah Shahidi, the captain of Afghanistan, wished his team luck in the T20I series.

He said, “I won’t be in the T20 teams, but I hope the best for the players who are.”

Shahidi said that he was happy with how well his team did in the game.

“I’m very happy with how the show is doing. Today was hard for us, but we didn’t get lazy, and we’ll learn from the loss. Bangladesh played well, and from the start they put us under pressure. “A special thank you to the fans of Afghanistan. They cheer for us wherever we go.”
