Liton ordinary but surrey jaguars book spot in gt20 final0

Liton Das, who keeps wickets and bats, didn’t do much with the bat on Friday, but his GT20 Canada team, Surrey Jaguars, made it to the final by beating Vancouver Knights by 38 runs in Brampton in Qualifier 1.

After winning their last game with 59 runs, Liton could only score 16 runs off 19 deliveries, which included a four and a six, as Surrey Jaguars put up 139 for nine when they were asked to bat.

But West Indies’ Matthew Forde turned things around with the ball in his hand. He got four for 16 in 2.4 overs, which helped Surrey Jaguars beat Vancouver Knights by a large margin (101 runs in 16.4 overs).

Liton and his team will play the winner of Qualifier 2 in the final on August 6.
