At the end of the first session of the second day of the only Test match being played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Thursday, Bangladesh pacer Ebadot Hossain delivered the goods in his very first over when he sent back Afghanistan opener Abdul Malik for 17.
This left the visitors two down for 24 after the completion of the seventh over in the first session of the second day of the match.
As Ebadot bowled a short one outside off-stump, extra bounce came into play once again. Malik replied by sliding into his backfoot to hit it, but the right-handed batsman could only manage an edge that carried to Zakir Hasan at third slip.
