On Saturday, a bizarre and suspicious-looking front-foot no ball occurred during the match between Northern Warriors and Chennai Braves in the Abu Dhabi T10 League, raising concern among fans on social media.
This occurred in the fifth over of the second innings. Warriors’ Indian pacer Abhimanyu Mithun overstepped the bowling crease by over two feet in the third ball of the over.
The delivery clip has gone viral on social media, leaving fans astonished and speculating about the no-ball.
Abhimanyu, who has played four Tests and five ODIs for India, was the pick of his side’s bowlers in the encounter, surrendering only 11 runs in two overs while taking two wickets.
He couldn’t, however, save his squad from a five-run loss.
