Bangladesh against Monday, the first match of the Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup will take place at the Tin Kwong Road Recreational field in Hong Kong. The match will feature a team from Hong Kong taking against a team from Malaysia.
Group B includes teams from Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, and Sri Lanka A, while Group A includes teams from India A, Pakistan A, Thailand A, and the host nation of Hong Kong. Lata Mondol and her men have been assigned to group B.
Although the captain of the Tigresses, Lata Mondol, stated that her team’s objective before departing for Hong Kong is to play good cricket, the Tigresses have not established any specific goals for the competition.
On June 14, Bangladesh’s next game will be against Sri Lanka, and then in their last group match, they will play the United Arab Emirates.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-final on June 19, while the championship game is set to take place on June 21.
