Following their first game in Dallas, on June 10, the Tigers will go north to New York to play the Proteas. When the Tigers play their third game against the Netherlands on June 13, the action will shift to the Caribbean island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. On June 16, they will play Nepal at the same location in the West Indies to conclude their group-stage matches.
The 29-day competition will begin with matches for 10 of the 20 teams in the USA; the 16 remaining matches will take place in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York, with the main match between India and Pakistan set for June 9 at the brand-new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on Long Island.
There will be 41 games played throughout the Caribbean on six different islands; the semi-finals will take place in Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana, while the championship game is set to take place in Barbados on June 29.
Co-hosts USA and Canada will face off in the tournament’s first match on June 1. On the second day of group play, fellow hosts the West Indies will take on Papua New Guinea in Guyana.
Four groups of five teams each are used for the event, and the top two teams from each group advance to the Super Six stage of the competition, which is held before the knockout semifinals and championship match.
