The captain of the Pakistan cricket team, Babar Azam, and his deputy, Mohammad Rizwan, are expected to become the first players from their country to enroll in the executive education program at Harvard Business School.

At the Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts, the program is slated to run from the evening of May 31 through the afternoon of June 3.

The two Pakistani cricketers will become the newest members of a lengthy list of prominent athletes who have completed the course in the past.

On the list are prominent athletes from other sports, such as footballers Kaka, Edwin van der Sar, Gerard Pique, and Oliver Kahn, as well as NBA stars Dirk Nowitzki, Chris Paul, and Paul Gasol.”My motivation for enrolling in this first-rate program at Harvard is to make connections, go on adventures, learn new things, become more mature, and contribute in meaningful ways to communities all over the world.”

Rizwan, the wicket keeper and batter, is equally as excited as Babar to have the chance to learn from the very best in the world.

“It is an incredible privilege to represent Pakistan on such a renowned venue on the international scene. “We are going to Harvard to learn from the best in the world and at the same time to share our journey and learnings with everyone,” said Rizwan. “We are going to Harvard to learn from the best in the world.”
