Arteta wants stronger arsenal squad to challenge man city0

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, feels that the club has to improve its roster via the transfer market if they want to unseat Manchester City as the champions of the Premier League in the next season.

The team led by Arteta spent most of the previous season at the top of the standings, but they were unable to maintain that position down the stretch due to injuries sustained by key players.

After that, City was able to clinch its fourth Premier League championship in the last five years and complete the triple by also winning the FA Cup and the Champions League.

It has been stated that these two teams are engaged in a bidding battle for West Ham captain Declan Rice, while Arsenal is also expected to get Kai Havertz from Chelsea.

When asked about Arteta’s prospects of winning the championship, Arteta said to Marca, “That is our ambition.”

“We are aware of the challenges; it is the most competitive league in the world, and the next campaign will be the most challenging in the Premier League’s whole history.

“Why? It was already the previous year. I’ve been coming here for 22 years, and I can honestly say that I’ve never seen the amount of competition that you guys have. There is such a high level of quality, organization, and resources, as well as an abundance of capable coaches.

This is the standard, and in order to win the Premier League, you have to be the very best. Because of this, you need to work on improving your strength.

After failing to place in the top four in each of the previous six seasons, most people didn’t anticipate Arsenal to even be in the running for the championship.

But Arteta stated that the loss of his position as leader of the Premier League for the most of the season from August through April still hurts.

“It still hurts me deep inside not to have won the Premier League after 10 months of fighting with City,” he continued. “To this day, it still hurts me deep inside not to have won the Premier League.”

There were three or four injuries to significant players, and things became more difficult after that. When the whole squad was together, we were able to maintain our consistency. As soon as the difficulties began to arise, we found that this was no longer sufficient.

“The team that we were competing against had the finest coach in the world, the best players in the world, and the best squad in the world.

“We had no choice but to accept it and shake hands with the winner,” said one of the members of the team.
