The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced that a “hybrid model” would be used to host the 2019 Asia Cup, with four games being played in Pakistan and the other nine games played in Sri Lanka.
ACC released an official statement today saying, “We are delighted to announce that the Asia Cup 2023 will be held from 31st August to 17th September 2023 and will see the elite teams from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal, compete in a total of 13 exciting ODI matches.”
There will be two groups in the 2023 Asia Cup, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super Four round. The final will include the top two teams from the Super Four round.
