Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard stated on Tuesday that his team would continue to fight for the Premier League championship until the very end. Odegaard scored twice in Arsenal’s 3-1 victory against Chelsea on Tuesday, which placed the north London club back on top of the table for at least the next 24 hours.
The way in which Arsenal won at home on Tuesday might plant some seeds of doubt in the minds of the City players coached by Pep Guardiola, and Odegaard is certain that the fight for the title is not yet finished.
“The performance, particularly the first half, was outstanding. “We came out and showed a different spirit to the last time,” the Norwegian, who scored two excellent first-half finishes to bring his league total to 14 for the season and told Sky Sports that he was pleased with his team’s performance, said. “We’ve got a long way to go.”
“We have to keep fighting and moving forward. We have faith, and we will continue to battle till the very end.”
Arsenal’s next league game is on the road against third-placed Newcastle United. By the time they play again, they might be four points behind City if City wins their home games against West Ham and Leeds United.
