Medium pacer with the left arm Maruf Mridha took four wickets to help Bangladesh U-19s bowl out India for 188 in today’s U19 Asia Cup semi-final at Dubai’s ICC Academy Ground 2.
India lost early wickets as Maruf struck three times in seven overs. India went from 13 for three to 36 for four when Sachin Dhas was bowled by bowler Doullah Borson after scoring 16. They quickly lost back-to-back wickets, falling to 61 for 6.
Musheer Khan (50 off 61) and Aravelly Avanish (62 off 74) put up an 84-run stand to help India reach 188 before being bowled out in 42.4 overs. During India’s innings, Doullah took two wickets, while off-spinner Paevez Jibon took two.
