Tamim Iqbal, the captain of Bangladesh’s one-day international team, has returned home after seeing a spine specialist in the United Kingdom.

On Monday, around 5:40 p.m., the man, who was 34 years old, arrived at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

An update was supplied by BCB Physician Dr. Debashis Chowdhury, who accompanied Tamim, and it said that the left-handed batter had undergone invasive pain treatment for his ailment.

“Tamim went to see a spinal expert about the continuous back discomfort he’s been experiencing, and he had an invasive pain management surgery done yesterday.

“He will be reassessed to determine the outcome of the procedure after being monitored for the next two days,” she said.

After spending some time on vacation in Dubai, Tamim left for England on July 25 and is presently on a break that will last for around 1.5 months.
