Shakib Al Hasan, who can play with both the bat and the ball, had a hard time against B-Love Kandy in the Lanka Premier League on Tuesday.
On a rare day off at the Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium, Shakib gave up 31 runs in three overs as Kandy scored 203 for five.
In response, Shakib, who came in at number five, hit 11 runs off 12 balls with one boundary.
Hasaranga de Silva floated one up with his leg spin, and Shakib tried to hit it with a big slog-sweep. He missed, though, and Fakhar Zaman caught it at deep square leg, putting Galle six runs behind with 47 balls left in the ninth over.
