Despite his extensive knowledge of the game’s technical aspects, Bangladesh Football Federation President Kazi Salahuddin has stated that he will not meddle with the player selecting process.

The former great player expressed his confidence that Bangladesh would perform exceptionally well in the forthcoming SAFF Championship, which will get underway in Bengaluru on June 21. He stated that he feels Bangladesh has the capacity to accomplish something really fantastic in the competition.

“I will not become involved in the process of selecting the team. Regardless of whether or not I have a large amount of technical expertise, I won’t intervene. The head of the BFF informed media today at the first practice session held at the Bashundhara Kings Arena that he might have some off-the-record conversations with the coaches.

According to Salahuddin, he has seen in the past that the players do not walk out onto the field with a winning mindset. This is something that Salahuddin wants to see altered.

“I came here to tell the players that you don’t lose the matches before getting on the pitch,” I told them. After waiting for 90 minutes, you will get the outcome. “It doesn’t matter if you win or lose; just go in feeling that you are on par with them,” Salahuddin said.

The seasoned football administrator stated that the present team had a few of players who are capable of turning games in their favor.

There are a few players that I can see made the difference in the league, and as a result, I have a strong conviction that they will do very well in the upcoming season. Since then, anything from two to four players have made enormous strides in their growth. When asked why he is optimistic despite the fact that the club has a long history of falling short of expectations, Salahuddin responded by saying that there are some new players on the squad.
