Ronaldo scores twice as al-nassr thrash al-shabab0

On Tuesday, Al Nassr defeated Al Shabab 4-0 in the Saudi Pro League match that took place in Riyadh. Cristiano Ronaldo contributed two goals to the victory for Al Nassr.

After an Al Shabab player was called for handball inside the opposition’s penalty area in the 13th minute, the Portuguese superstar scored the game’s first goal by converting a penalty kick. After five more minutes, he added to his total with a header, but the goal was called back because he had pushed a defender in the process of scoring.

Iago Cuellar took Ronaldo down inside the penalty area, which resulted in the Al Nassr captain being awarded the penalty kick that Ronaldo converted for his second goal of the game in the 36th minute.

Then, he assisted Sadio Mane in scoring the team’s third goal by sending a pass from the center of the field to the right side of the Al Shabab penalty area. The Senegalese player completed the goal with a sliding finish to the ball.

The Saudi club lost its first two league matches of the season, which left Ronaldo and his teammates in a disadvantageous position early on in the competition for the championship.

However, since then, they have won their past two matches, scoring nine goals while allowing none to be scored against them. Five of those goals have been scored by Ronaldo, who followed up his hat trick against Al Fateh in their most recent match with a pair of strikes here at home.

The final goal for Al Nassr was scored by Sultan Al Ghanam, who also had an assist on the play. Ever Banega was shown the red card for a poor tackle and will likely be subject to a suspension in the near future. As a result, Al Shabab concluded the game with only 10 players on the field.

Ronaldo might have scored a hat trick for the second time in as many games, but he gave Al Nassr’s Abdulrahman Ghareeb the opportunity to take the penalty that came their way in the 63rd minute. The winger’s shot hit the post, and the team did not score a fourth goal.
