Cristiano Ronaldo suggested he has more in him this year after scoring his 50th goal of the year in Al Nassr’s 5-2 Saudi King Cup win over rivals Al Shabab.
In the 74th minute, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward scored from close range with his right foot.
“Great victory and I’m thrilled to announce my 50th goal in 2023,” the 38-year-old Portuguese posted on Instagram after helping Al Nassr reach the semi-finals in Riyadh on Monday.
“It would not have been possible without the unwavering support of my teammates, fans, and family!” This year, there is still room for a few more.”
Since joining Al Nassr at the conclusion of last year, the captain has averaged nearly a goal per game.
He also scored 10 goals in nine matches for Portugal in 2023.
