Portugal’s roster for their next Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Slovakia and Luxembourg includes Cristiano Ronaldo.

Portugal, a past European champion, leads Group J and advances to the finals in Germany the following year.

Next Friday, they play Slovakia in Bratislava, and three days later, they host Luxembourg.


After Ronaldo scored five goals in his first four qualifying matches, Portugal coach Roberto Martinez stated of the player, “A player with 200 appearances, that’s something unique.”

“Let me tell you, having Cristiano Ronaldo on my team makes me very happy.”

The 38-year-old Ronaldo, who now plays for Saudi Arabia, marked his 200th appearance for his country by scoring the game’s winning goal in Portugal’s 1-0 triumph against Iceland in June.

Martinez also called up uncapped Wolves full-back Toti and includes midfielders Otavio and Ruben Neves, who are based in Saudi Arabia, in his squad.

Joao Palhinha (Fulham/ENG), Vitinha (Paris Saint-Germain/FRA), Otavio (Al-Nassr/KSA), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United/ENG), and Bernardo Silva (Manchester City/ENG) are midfielders.
