The news that Spanish defender Sergio Ramos would be departing French champions Paris Saint-Germain was announced on Friday by the club in Ligue 1.
The 37-year-old player moved to Parc des Princes for free before the 2021-22 season after Real Madrid and the player were unable to come to an agreement over the length of the player’s continued stay at the club.
Due to the fact that his contract is about to expire, the veteran center defender will depart the French capital. During his time with Spain, he won the World Cup, two European Championships, and a myriad of titles while playing for Real Madrid.
Ramos won two trophies in Ligue 1 and the French Super Cup while playing for the Paris club throughout the course of his two seasons there.
The President of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelafi, expressed gratitude to Ramos for all of his hard work at the Parc des Princes.
