Yashasvi Jaiswal helped Rajasthan Royals win against Chennai Super Kings, and as a result, they moved ahead of MS Dhoni’s team at the top of the Indian Premier League standings.

Jaiswal scored 77 runs off 43 balls, helping his team, the men in pink, reach a total of 202-5. Chennai lost the match by 32 runs due to the five wickets taken by spinners Adam Zampa and Ravichandran Ashwin.

Jaiswal and Buttler had a strong start for Rajasthan in their cricket match, with Jaiswal hitting four fours and accumulating 64 runs with Buttler in the first six overs. Jaiswal expressed his enjoyment of playing with Buttler and his desire to play traditional cricket shots while maintaining a fast pace.

Buttler was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja, scoring a slower than usual 27 runs off 21 balls according to his usual standards as the captain of England’s team. Royals’ captain, Sanju Samson also left the field after scoring 17 runs.

Jaiswal continued to play despite difficulties and scored 50 runs off 26 balls with four sixes and eight fours. He was eventually dismissed for 77 by Tushar Deshpande.

Shimron Hetmyer got out early for eight runs, but Dhruv Jurel and Devdutt Padikkal managed to score enough runs to help Rajasthan achieve a score of over 200 for the first time at their home ground.

Chennai got off to a good start thanks to Ruturaj Gaikwad’s fast innings of 47 runs off 29 balls, even though his partner Devon Conway was out early. The team scored 42 runs in the first six overs.

Rajasthan’s spin bowlers, led by Zampa, restricted the opposition’s scoring, as he picked up three wickets including those of Conway and Gaikwad who both hit the ball to long-on and were dismissed for 47.

Ashwin took two wickets in just three deliveries, dismissing Ajinkya Rahane and Ambati Rayudu, who were both playing well. Rahane scored 15 runs before getting out, while Rayudu was dismissed without scoring any runs, as he hit the ball to the boundary.

Shivam Dube scored 52 runs off 33 balls and hit four sixes, helping Chennai stay competitive. However, other players on the team, including Moeen Ali, lost their wickets. This was Dube’s third time scoring over 50 runs in four matches. Zampa was the bowler who dismissed Ali.
