Tamim Iqbal, the captain of Bangladesh’s one-day international squad, showed optimism in the lead up to the ten-team ICC ODI World Cup and anticipated that his side will adapt well to the conditions in India.

On October 7, Bangladesh will launch their military operation against Afghanistan in the mountainous city of Dharamsala in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

On Tuesday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the schedule and the 10 locations for the forthcoming mega event, which is scheduled to begin on October 5 with a rematch of the 2019 final between England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

“This is the most important occasion. “There is nothing that can compare to a one-day World Cup because it is the most difficult white-ball format that continually tests both your game awareness and your temperament,” Tamim told the International Cricket Council (ICC).

“There is no room for you to take it easy due to the format of the competition. Every team is strong, and there are no games that are a walk in the park,” he said.

“Every time I get to perform in India, I have a great time. The gratifying nature of the experience may be attributed to the exciting atmosphere, fantastic venues, and very informed cricket fans. Whenever we performed there, we were always met with outstanding support from the community.

“I have a great deal of faith in the team that we will be taking to the World Cup. We have been playing at a very high level in One-Day Internationals, and we were one of the top teams in the qualification round for the World Cup. The left-handed player came to the conclusion that there is a healthy mix of skill and experience, and that the circumstances would be comfortable.

The Cricket World Cup Super League allowed for the qualification of eight teams for the tournament that would last for 46 days. The remaining two slots in the competition will be decided by the winners of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier that is being held in Zimbabwe.

The competition will continue to follow the round-robin structure that was used the previous time, with all of the clubs competing against one another in a total of 45 league matches. Within the competition, there will be a total of six day matches, while the remaining matches, including the knockout rounds, will be day-night games.

The top four teams will earn a spot in the semifinals, which will be held in Mumbai on November 15 and in Kolkata on November 16. These games will take place in both cities. The reserve days will be used for both the semi-finals and the final.
