Netherlands knock out nepal to land in super six 0

In the World Cup qualifying event that took place on Saturday in Harare, the Netherlands defeated Nepal by seven wickets, which advanced them to the Super Sixes and eliminated Nepal from the competition.

The victory by the Dutch also ensures that both the West Indies and Zimbabwe will go on to the next level.

The Netherlands gave Nepal the opportunity to bat in the decisive match, but Nepal was only able to score 167 runs before giving up following a middle-overs crisis that was started by Vikramjit Singh and exacerbated by Logan van Beek.

In the third over of Nepal’s innings, Van Beek had Aasif Sheikh caught chopping, but Kushal Bhurtel and Bhim Sharki performed very well to battle their way through the rest of the over.

Bhurtel greeted Vikramjit with a cut that went past cover for four and a punch that went through mid-on for three. Both of them were successful in scoring.

However, Vikramjit was able to find his lengths, which allowed him to first stop the runs from being scored and then remove Bhurtel and Aarif Sheikh in the 15th and 17th overs, respectively.

The score for Nepal went from 46 for 1 to 91 for 5, and they were unable to recover from this collapse.
