After defeating Brighton on penalties in the semi-final, Manchester United will now play against bitter rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
Erik ten Hag’s team had a tough match against Brighton that ended in a 0-0 tie and required extra time at Wembley.
Brighton’s Solly March failed to score in the shoot-out, while Victor Lindelof secured Manchester United’s victory with his successful penalty.
United will be making their first appearance in the FA Cup final since they lost to Chelsea in 2018.
On June 3, United will compete against City in the final after City’s 3-0 victory over Sheffield United in the other semi-final on Saturday.
