Liton misfires with bat in surrey win 0

On Wednesday, Bangladesh hitter Liton Das excelled with the gloves but struggled with the bat as his team, the Surrey Jaguars, defeated the Mississauga Panthers by eight wickets in the GT20 Canada tournament.

In the first innings, Surrey bundled out Mississauga for 56 runs thanks to the efforts of Liton, who performed a stumping to assist in the removal of Shoaib Malik and shattered the stumps following a throw by Spencer Johnson to send Usman Qadir packing.

Liton hit two boundaries while batting, however he was unable to continue since he was out after facing 13 balls from right-arm pacer Cecile Pervez. Liton’s score of 10 was the result of being removed.

With 11 overs left to play, Surrey were able to cross the finish line in grand fashion thanks to an opening batsman named Mohammad Haris who scored 37 off 23 balls.

As a result of Surrey’s fourth victory of the competition, they have moved to the top of the table, where they sit with 10 points after seven matches. On the other side of the table, Mississauga is in last place since they have not yet recorded a victory in the game.
