After winning his team’s 2-1 away victory against Wolfsburg on Wednesday, Harry Kane of Bayern Munich declared that he “can’t wait” for his first winter break.

After Jamal Musiala had started the score, Kane, 30, scored Bayern’s second goal. Just before halftime, Max Arnold, the captain of Wolfsburg, cut the gap in half.

Despite having a game in hand, Bayern now sits four points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen following their victory.

“I can’t wait to be honest, I’m really looking forward to it” stated Kane.

“It’s been tough here without the family for these four months, without the kids and without the wife,” he said.

In August, Kane left his childhood club, Tottenham, to join Bayern Munich, leaving his family behind in London.

Since the transfer, the England captain has scored 25 goals in 22 games across all competitions.

“It’s just about spending some time with them, some quality time.”

Prior to locating a home earlier in December, Kane had spent his first few months in the Bavarian capital staying in a hotel room.

“When we get back everyone will move to Germany, which will be nice as well.”

German football takes a winter break every year, more than three weeks than that of the Premier League.

“We’re going somewhere hot, so we’ll spend ten days and just enjoy that time,” Kane stated.

“I’m going to text all my mates in England a picture of me on the beach somewhere.”
