Gujarat post 2140

Yesterday’s Indian Premier League final between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings was won by Gujarat Titans, who scored 214 for four thanks in large part to a magnificent knock by Sai Sudharsan.

The captain of Chennai, MS Dhoni, who was most likely making his final appearance as a player, won the toss and opted to bowl first against the team that was now holding the title of champion, but the bowlers from Chennai were unable to have much of an effect on the game.

The opening partnership between Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha was worth 67 runs and lasted for seven overs when the former batsman was dismissed for 39 runs off of 20 balls. Saha made a contribution with a score of 54 off of 39 balls.

After that, Sudharsan came on and absolutely dominated the competition with a score of 96 off of just 47 balls. His innings was highlighted by eight boundaries and six maximums. Unfortunately, he was caught leg before by Matheesha Pathirana, which prevented him from scoring a century in the match.

Gujarat were in an excellent position to deny Chennai a record-tying fifth title in the world’s biggest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad and instead prolong Gujarat’s fairytale trip, which began with a title in their maiden season last year. However, the formidable aim meant that Gujarat were in a good position to deny Chennai a record-tying fifth title.

Hardik Pandya returned with the same squad after leading them to victory in the final playoff against the Mumbai Indians, who hold the record for most titles with five.

After a day of play that was wiped out by rain and thunderstorms on Sunday, the championship match has been moved to Monday so that it may be completed.
