Borussia Dortmund advanced to the Champions League last 16 with a 3-1 victory over AC Milan at the San Siro on Tuesday.
Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus put the visitors ahead with a penalty in the 10th minute, while Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze equalised from inside the area eight minutes before halftime.
Just before the hour mark, Dortmund’s Jamie Bynoe-Gittens restored the advantage, and Karim Adeyemi made it 3-1 in the 69th minute after Milan goalie Mike Maignan twice tried to claw his powerful effort away, but the ball made it under the goal line instead.
Dortmund leads the group with ten points, while Paris Saint-Germain, who drew 1-1 with Newcastle United, is second with seven. Both Newcastle and Milan have five points.
