Cricket er shathe chola, the second book written by Lutfur Rahman, who served as the top selector for the Bangladesh national cricket team for many years, was released on Friday at the National Press Club in Dhaka.
The 89-year-old former cricketer and official of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) was born in Mymensingh and has served as a member of the selection committee on four separate occasions between the years 1957/58 and 1997/98, of which three of those stints were spent in the role of chief selector.
This book chronicles Lutfur’s life, beginning with his time spent as a player in the 1960s and continuing through his time as an organizer and official after that.
