City matchwinner silva hails 'beautiful' night0

Bernardo Silva, who was named the man of the match for Manchester City’s hammering of Real Madrid in the semifinals of the Champions League on Wednesday, referred to the game as a “beautiful” and “wonderful” night.

Silva stated that he was unhappy with his performance in the first-leg tie that took place in Madrid last week, which resulted in a 1-1 aggregate score, therefore he was ecstatic to score the first two goals in the 4-0 triumph in Manchester that resulted in a 5-1 aggregate victory and a spot in the Champions League final.

“We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. We were aware that it was going to be challenging. “But to beat this Madrid team at home by a score of 4-0, that was fantastic,” the Portuguese midfielder remarked.

“A wonderful feeling to be in the final again, and hopefully this time we can try and win it,” added Silva, whose club lost the Champions League final to Chelsea two years ago. “This time we can try and win it,” Silva continued.

“My performance in the first game in Madrid wasn’t one that I wanted, and I wanted to try and compensate for that because I didn’t feel very good at all after the first game,” he said. “My performance in the second game in Madrid was one that I wanted,” he said. And so, here and now, I had to do better for the sake of both my teammates and the audience.

“We were incredibly tenacious, extremely passionate, and well organized all at the same time.” I couldn’t be happier with how that performance turned out.

The first of Silva’s two goals in the first half was a superb header, and it was the goal that practically won the game for City.

“I’m small, but I’m good with my head!” he chuckled. “I’m good with my head!”

In the championship game, the English team will take against Inter Milan.

Silva commented on the Italian team, saying that they give off the impression of being very powerful, highly organized defensively, and very swift when counterattacking.

“Even though it’s going to be difficult, we’re going to fight for it.”

Dani Carvajal, a defender for Real Madrid, demonstrated class and dignity despite his team’s loss.

“In the second leg, our competitors were superior to us; they outperformed us by a wide margin.” According to what he said on Movistar Plus TV in Spain, “they were a superior opponent.”

“There was just something missing… I wouldn’t call it attitude, but I believe we went back inside too quickly. We played some of our strongest minutes after the interval. We’ll come back even stronger than before.

“We knew that they are very strong at home, but after the sensations of the first leg, we all thought that we could play a better game.” “We knew that they are very strong at home.”

Jack Grealish of Manchester City, who tormented the Spaniards from the wing at the Etihad Stadium, stated that he had always dreamed of playing in the Champions League. Grealish’s ambition came true when he joined Manchester City.

“It’s incredible … He stated that he did not believe a large number of clubs would attempt to go that route against Real Madrid.

“I don’t know what it is, but it feels like it’s unstoppable.”

Defender Kyle Walker, who kept Real’s lightning-quick forward Vinicius Jr. quiet all evening despite matching him in terms of pace, commented that it had been a challenging battle.

“I felt the guys did a good job of putting their heads down and controlling the ball extremely effectively, especially in the first half… We crossed the finish line, which is the most important thing,” he remarked.

To compete with Vinicius requires a tremendous amount of confidence in oneself.

According to Walker, “You’ve got to have a little bit of arrogance, like the attackers do,” in order to be successful. “I always say you should go toe-to-toe with them, but I use my pace.”
