The second straight Premier League game in which Chelsea has failed to score came on Sunday at the Vitality Stadium as its much-maligned assault was held to a goalless draw by Bournemouth.

Chelsea controlled possession in the first half after their 1-0 league loss to Nottingham Forest. Nicolas Jackson struck the foot of the post in the 14th minute, and Conor Gallagher wasted a fantastic chance just after the half-hour mark.

Early in the second half, the visitors had the ball in the net when Levi Colwill scored on a rebound after Raheem Sterling’s free kick hit the angle of the post and crossbar. However, the goal was disallowed for offside.

Bournemouth clung on for a draw that lifts them up to 15th position on three points, two points and one place below Chelsea. They had many good opportunities and goalie Neto made an incredible one-handed save to deny Chelsea replacement Cole Palmer.
