On Tuesday, the Bangladesh Football Federation revealed the names of all 22 members of the women’s team that will compete in the forthcoming 19th Asian Games.
Shohagi Kisku and Aklima Khatun were not included in the team that recently competed in two FIFA friendly matches against Nepal at their home stadium. These matches were recently held.

While this was going on, striker Shamsunnahar Junior, who scored the first of three goals against Nepal in the final of the 2022 SAFF Women’s Championship, returned to the team after missing the Nepal games due to fever. Junior scored the first goal of the three goals scored against Nepal.
The girls will begin their training for the Asian Games over the next couple of days, according to Coach Mahabubur Rahman Litu, who said that they are currently participating in a recuperation period after playing in two friendly matches.
