During a rough run in the ICC World Cup that just ended, Bangladeshi players fell behind in most of the measures, but they were right up there in one area.

Bangladesh were second only to India when they challenged the ruling made by the on-field referee. Four of their eleven ruling Review System (DRS) appeals were successful, giving them a 36.36 percent success rate. The runner-up in the 2023 World Cup got six of their DRS calls right, which is 40% of the time.

It was hard for Bangladeshi hitters to let their willows grow during the game, but Bangladesh had the most successful requests, which means that judges had to change their choices. The batters for the Tigers were able to get three of the five DRS reviews right, giving them a 60% success rate. The batters for New Zealand came in second with a 50% success rate, meaning they got three of their six requests right.
