Bangladesh thrash Turkmenistan 6-0

Bangladesh thrash turkmenistan 6-00

The Bangladesh head coach announced that his team was excited for their first international game and they proved it by beating Turkmenistan in their first match of the AFC U-17 Women’s Asia Cup Qualifiers in Singapore.

Bangladesh scored six goals in their game, with two goals from forward Thuinuye Marma and one goal each from Puja Das, Ruma Akter, Sauravi Akanda Prity, and Srimoti Trishna. They managed to score five of these goals in the first hour of the game.

In just three minutes, Bangladesh took the lead with a goal scored by Puja, their midfielder.

Two minutes after scoring their first goal, Thuinuye scored again and this made the debutants uneasy. However, just as Turkmenistan was beginning to get comfortable, Ruma, the captain of Bangladesh, scored their third goal in the 39th minute, giving them a comfortable lead of 3-0 at halftime.

Turkmenistan faced a difficult challenge in their match against Bangladesh, which became even more challenging after Thuinuye scored her second goal just seven minutes into the second half. As Bangladesh continued to score, Turkmenistan shifted their focus to minimizing the damage. However, Bangladesh secured their victory with a penalty goal from substitute Srimoti.

The next match will be between Bangladesh and Singapore at the same location on Sunday.
