Bangladesh take on maldives with two changes0

Suman Reza and Mojibur Rahman Jony were replaced by Rakib Hossain and Mohammad Ridoy in Bangladesh’s starting eleven for the match against Maldives. Rakib Hossain and Mohammad Ridoy started the match for Bangladesh.

In a last-ditch effort to keep their chances of advancing to the semifinals alive, the Bangladesh squad has devised a strategy to seize control of the midfield during their match against the Maldives.

Forwards Ibrahim Mahudhee Hussain and Ibrahim Wahed Hassan were replaced by Ali Fasir and Naiz Hassan for the Maldives in their second game after the team made two substitutions in the first.

The match will begin at four o’clock in the afternoon (British Summer Time) at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.

After suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Lebanon in their first encounter, Bangladesh are in a predicament where they must win or perish. They are facing an uphill battle against a team that they have not defeated in this tournament in the last 20 years, therefore the odds are stacked against them.

In the match against Lebanon, head coach Javier Cabrera used a 4-3-3 system, and it is possible that he would appoint one additional midfielder against Maldives in order to exert greater control over the action in the middle of the field.

If we want to have success against Maldives, we need to exert our dominance in the middle of the field. “And, we are likely to include one more midfielder compared to the Lebanon match and expecting to take control of the midfield because we all are ball players,” Mohammad Sohel Rana told reporters after yesterday’s training session at Bengaluru Football Stadium at Bengaluru Football Stadium.

Sohel responded as follows when questioned about the source of the team’s motivation to compete against Maldives: “Since we went to Saudi Arabia for the national camp (in March), we have been preparing for the SAFF Championship and have been working on the Maldives team.” In addition to that, we had training today as part of our overall preparation. We have been keeping up with their matches, and that is one reason why we are feeling more positive about our chances versus Maldives.

“Everyone including the coach also said that the match against Maldives is like the final and we are confident with our balanced squad,” Rana continued. “During the training, everyone said that the match against Maldives is like the final.”

Tapu Barman, who plays in the middle of the defense, thinks that they have to preserve a clean sheet if they want to win against Maldives.

If we lose against the Maldives, it would be the second time that we have to withdraw from the SAFF Championship. It is now everyone’s responsibility to perform at their highest level,” Tapu said. “We have to make an effort to keep our record spotless by giving more than one hundred percent.”

“We have already conducted research on the Maldives team’s most important players and understood how to compete against them. However, Tapu remarked that only the defenders on their squad wanted to protect the full team since they were aware of how important this game was.

Faisal Ahmed Fahim, a forward, is keen to perform well in today’s match in particular since he blew a chance to do so against Lebanon.

“I believe that it is conceivable to breach the defensive posture of the Maldives, just as we did against Lebanon. What transpired in the match before this one had place, and now we eagerly anticipate the match against Maldives. Whoever gets the opportunity must see it through to the end, and I for one would want to do the same if I had the chance.
