Yesterday marked the beginning of a three-week camp for the Bangla Tigers team in Chattogram. They will be practicing at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) in preparation for the third and final one-day international between Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
According to the officials of the BCB, the team was scheduled to arrive back in Dhaka on August 1. There are currently 24 people at the program, but it is anticipated that four of them, including Soumya Sarkar and Mahedi Hasan, will join the camp when they compete in the Emerging Asia Cup in Sri Lanka.
After participating in warm-ups for the first few days of the camp, the players will then shift their attention to a skills camp led by Sohel Islam, the head coach of the Bangla Tigers. Jamie Siddons, a batting consultant, and Champaka Ramanayake, a fast-bowling coach, will oversee and assist with the sessions.
“A total of 24 players were chosen to participate in the camp, but four of them are currently in Sri Lanka with the Emerging Asia Cup squad.” According to a BCB spokesperson, there are currently twenty cricket players training at the facility.
Before they left for the camp the other day, Mosaddek Hossain shared a picture on his Instagram account featuring himself, Yasir Ali, Abu Haider Rony, and a few other people.
