Trent Boult’s performance, which included five wickets for 51 runs, enabled New Zealand to stay in the game even after England was bowled out with 11 balls to spare.

In response, Chris Woakes (3-31) caused the majority of the damage for New Zealand, which led to their score being reduced to 37-4.

Rachin Ravindra’s score of 28 was lower than the total of 187 that New Zealand was dismissed for. Only Glenn Phillips’ score of 72 was higher.
