Ish Sodhi of New Zealand picked up his first five-wicket haul to bring Bangladesh’s score down to 136 for six after the completion of the 30th over on Saturday during the second one-day international of the three-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Blackcaps had set a target of 254 runs for Bangladesh to reach in order to win the match.

Sheikh Mahedi Hasan was unable to continue batting after being constricted by Sodhi’s googly, which smashed into the stumps and gave Sodhi his fifth wicket. Other people who fell prey to him include Tamim Iqbal, Tanzid Tamim, Soumya Sarker, and Towhid Hridoy.
