Liverpool beat Bournemouth 3-1 on Saturday, even though they were down early to Antoine Semenyo’s goal. Goals from Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah, and Diogo Jota helped them come back after that.

The Reds’ first game, at Chelsea, ended in a 1-1 draw. In the third minute, Trent Alexander-Arnold lost the ball in a dangerous area, and then Semenyo scored for the south-coast team.

After a slow start, Liverpool started to get into the game. In the 28th minute, Diaz scored the game’s first goal with a spectacular shot. Salah then made it 2-1 with a hard shot after his penalty kick was saved in the 36th minute.

In the second half, Liverpool kept up the pressure and got their third goal through Jota, even though they were down to 10 players after Alexis Mac Allister was shown a straight red card for a high tackle on Joe Rothwell just before the hour mark.
